Membership Information

The NSSA is a scientific organisation. Membership to NSSA is open to any suitable qualified person whose work may contribute to scientific knowledge of nutrition or to its application to the promotion of human health. Membership does however NOT render the member eligible for registration as a nutritionist. The latter process is regulated by the HPCSA (Professional Board for Dietetics and Nutrition).

As a member of the Nutrition Society, you will be able to network with colleagues in the nutrition field and keep up to date with emerging events. You will receive the South African Journal of Clinical Nutrition free and have discounted fees at nutrition congresses and meetings.
